I am committed to helping people improve and transform their lives. Everyone is an individual and therefore, I believe, it is important for me to have a variety of techniques to help people. As the following lists show, I spend many hours upgrading my knowledge base and skills. 

While my education is ongoing, I currently have a Ph.D. and am a Registered Professional Counsellor, Psychotherapist, Certified Emotional Resolution Practitioner, Certified Spiritual Director, Master Hypnotherapist, Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming Practitioner, Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, and a graduate of Debra Silverman School of Astrology. In addition, I have completed many courses as highlighted below.

Psychotherapy and Spiritual Direction

Upon completing the Spiritual Psychotherapy, Spiritual Director, and Total Self Diploma Programs at the Transformational Arts College (TAC), I was certified by the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners and received the designation of Registered in Human Relations (R.I.H.R.).

As well, I went on to complete the Group Psychotherapy Certificate Program, the Relationship Counseling Certificate Program, the Body-Centred Therapy Certificate Course, the Coaching for Individuals Certificate Program, the Divine Connections, and the Past Life Therapy Course at TAC.

Hypnotherapy

I am a Certified Master Hypnotist and Certified Instructor. I undertook my studies with Dr. Georgina Cannon, at the Ontario Hypnosis Centre (OHC), Canada’s foremost hypnosis training school, and was accredited by the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH). I also completed OHC’s Introduction to Gestalt Therapy, Pain Control and Management, Past Life Regression, and Life Between Lives Certification Programs, and their Sports Hypnosis/Performance Management Certification and Parts Therapy Workshops. In addition, I completed a number of NGH workshops, conducted by Donald J. Mottin, including Hypnosis Desk Reference, Mastering Inductions & Removing Imprints, and Pain Control & Emergency Hypnosis. As an accredited National Guild of Hypnotists Certified Instructor, I am qualified to teach others to become Consulting Hypnotists and Past Life Regression Hypnotists.

Emotional Resolution (EmRes)

Upon completion of the Certification process of the Emotional Health Institute, I continued learning the material and completed a number of EmRes courses including EmRes Applied to the Body (x2), Emotional Optimization, Shifting Beliefs (x3), Teaching Self EmRes and redoing Level 1 (x3) and Level 2 (2).

BodyTalk 

As a Certified BodyTalk(BT) Practitioner, I am continuously upgrading my skills through additional courses, training, and study groups. Astrology

As a graduate of Debra Silverman School of Astrology, I am currently going through the certification process. To that end I have completed “Tell Me A Story” course, enrolled in Auditing Levels 1 and 2 in the fall, and begun the required case studies.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)

I was certified as a Master Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner by The Society of NLP and Dr. Richard Bandler. I finished the 9 day Practitioner and 11 day Master Practitioner Neuro-Linguistic Programming certification programs at the NLP Possibilities with DHE’s Training and Fulfillment Centre. Along with their Advanced Communication Specialist Training and Communication Specialist Training.

Emotional Freedom Technique

I studied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) with David Rourke & Associates and completed his EFT Approved Courses Levels 1 and 2, as well as the EFT Course created by Gary Craig, developer of EFT.

Mediation

I completed the intensive “Mediating Workplace Disputes” program put on by CDR Associates in Boulder, Colorado and Osgoode Hall Law School’s “Negotiation and Mediation in the Employment Industry”.

Lee Harris 

After following Lee Harris’s work for years and being a Portal Member, I completed many of his courses and continue to enjoy his current work. Courses and books include, but not limited to: Next Level Healer, Boundaries, Empaths and Narcissists (x2), Arise, Empowered Sensitive, How to Channel and Why, Initiation (x4), Own Your Value, Working with Guides, Unleash Your Authentic Power, Rebirth (x4), Initiation, Conversations with the Z’s, etc.

Prior Work Experience 

Prior to moving to Vernon, BC, I had a private therapy practice in Pickering Village, Ontario and was an Associate and Certified Instructor of the Ontario Hypnosis Centre where I saw clients at their Yorkville location in Toronto. I was also a teacher for the Discovering the Total Self Program at the Transformational Arts College. This Program is a unique series of courses in personal and spiritual development designed to balance body, mind and spirit. A psycho-spiritual approach is taken in the course teachings that incorporate a blending of ancient spiritual wisdom, esoteric principles, contemporary psychology and emotional healing.

Grief and Bereavement

As a past volunteer for Durham Hospice, I spent time with people who were living with a life threatening illness, death or bereavement. I completed the Durham Hospice 30-hour introductory hospice palliative care training program which gave volunteers general, required knowledge and skill to support people and families facing a terminal illness, death and bereavement. As well, I completed the Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care Program which is a collaboration between Durham Hospice and the Palliative Pain and Symptom Management Consultation Service. The standardized curriculum is funded by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care and is recognized throughout Ontario. I also completed Durham Hospice’s Bereavement Training.

Energy Healing

With respect to energy healing, I am a Level III Reconnective Healer and can perform Reconnective Healings and Reconnections. I am also a Reiki Master and studied Spiritual Healing and Energy Transfer at TAC.
